Olubadan-Designate Admonishes Folarin Over Wife’s Death
Olubadan-designate, Dr. Lekan Balogun has charged the senator representing Oyo Central in the Senate, Teslim Folarin, to take solace in the Almighty Allah as the only source of strength and courage in his moment of trial.
This is contained in a condolence message he sent to the former Senate Leader on the death of his wife, Barrister Angela Nwaka Folarin.
The late Mrs. Folarin was reported to have died in a United Kingdom hospital last Friday.
Dr. Balogun, who described the late Mrs. Folarin as his loving daughter, said he could feel the pain and anguish of Senator Folarin on the death of his better half and said only Allah could heal the wound created by the sudden death.
The Olubadan-Designate said: “The news of the death of Mrs. Folarin was shocking and devastating to me as a person and I can feel the pain of my son and brother in this circumstance. Except the Almighty Allah Himself soothes the pain, it is difficult for any man to do.
“Whoever had close affinity with the Folarins would appreciate and acknowledge the gravity of the loss and the vacuum the death would create in the entire family and life of my brother senator in particular.”
The Olubadan-designate prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased and charged Senator Folarin to be consoled by the legacy of good and charismatic life led by his late wife and, more importantly, to be able to fill the void created in the lives of the children she left behind.
