#ENDSARS: Falz, Mr Macaroni Lead Lekki Memorial Procession
Activist-singer, Falz and popular comedian, Mr Macaroni, are leading the car procession at the #EndSARS Memorial Protest at Lekki tollgate in Lagos.
The duo showed up in the early hours of Wednesday at the procession waving Nigerian flags and shouting #ENDSARS.
The toll gate, was the epicentre of the nationwide protests last year, has however been banned from public gathering and it is manned by heavily armed security operatives.
Falz and Macaroni, who were spotted in a Lexus SUV, spoke with newsmen, saying the Nigerian leadership must listen to the demands of youths and embrace good governance.
Over 100 youths were said to have joined the peaceful procession in Lagos to celebrate the one year anniversary of the #ENDSARS protest at the Lekki Toll Gate and during which several youths were allegedly shot at and killed, on 20 October, 2020.
