Dangote Loses Younger Brother, Sani
Africa’s richest man and President of Dangote Group of Companies, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, has lost his immediate younger brother, Sani, to the cold hand of death in faraway United States of America (USA)
Sani, who died after a protracted illness, was until his passage in an American hospital, Sunday evening, the Vice President of Dangote Group and owner of Dansa Agro-Allied Limited.
The confirmation death of the late Sani Dangote was containedd in a short statement from the Dangote Group:
“Inna Liliahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun! It is with a heavy heart but with total submission to Almighty Allah that we announce the passing on of our Group Vice President, Alhaji Sani Dangote, today 14 November, 2021.
“May Allah SWT Grant him mercy and Admit him in Aljannat-al-Firdaus!,” the short statement read.
Before his death, Sani was a successful businessman, with more than 30 years experience in the manufacturing, agriculture and oil sectors.
He was on the board of several other companies and the deputy chairman of African Gum Arabic Producers Association, a fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Shipping and president of the Fertilizer Producers and Suppliers Association.
